The main Saudi stock index closed today, down 133.54 points to close at 10825.01 points, with transactions worth 10.8 billion riyals.
The number of traded shares reached more than 300 million shares, which were shared by more than 435,000 transactions, in which the shares of 37 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 154 companies closed down.
The shares of Al Ahlia Gulf Union, Pipes, Al Khareef, Al Yamama Steel, Swicorp and Apple REIT were the highest gainers, while the shares of NIS, Fitaihi Group, Petro Rabigh, Ataa and Baazeem were the lowest in trading, as the percentages of rise and fall ranged between 6.94 % and 3.78%.
While the shares of Swicorp, Apple REIT, Dar Al-Arkan, Saudi Kayan, Alinma, and Chemanol were the most active in terms of quantity, while the shares of Al-Fokhariah, Al-Rajhi, Al-Omran, SABIC and Chemanol companies were the most active in value.
The Saudi parallel stock index (Nomu) closed today, up 101.37 points, to close at 23140.26 points, with transactions amounting to 20 million riyals, and the number of traded shares reached 215,000 shares, shared by 964 deals.
