Board of Directors
NOMW Capital’s Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the company’s corporate governance, performance, development and regulatory compliance.
The responsibilities of the board include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Developing the infrastructure for core policies and objectives
- Identifying the main risks involved in the company’s investments and implementing effective systems to efficiently mitigate these risks
- Protecting the assets of the company and shareholders’ equity
- Developing and implementing succession policies for senior management team to ensure the business continuity
- Supervising the implementation of internal policies
- Leading and providing direction for the company
- Committing to the highest ethical standards and integrity
- Enforcing conduct for compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
The Board of Directors consists of six members selected by the shareholders during the General Assembly Meeting.
There are four committees under the Board of Directors:
Audit Committee
Compliance and Risk Committee
Nomination and Remuneration Committee
The Board of Directors today includes the following members:
Mr. Abdullah AlGhamas – Chairman
businessman owner and founder of several real estate companies and companies in the Food Field, he has many achievements and a proven track record of successes in the real estate and Food Field. Mr. Abdullah heads the board of several real estate and food companies.
Mr. Abdullah holds a diploma degree.
Mr. Turki Bin Marshod – Managing Director & CEO of NOMW Capital
Mr. Turki has more than 17 years of experience in the investment, operation management, compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter terrorist Financing, and risk management. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Alinma Investment Company for more than 11 years, and he worked on establishing and legislating securities. Currently, Mr. Turki is engaging in investment consultation and establishing companies.
Mr. Turki holds a bachelor’s degree in financial management from King Saud University. He also has professional certificates from several institutions such as the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and some of the most prestigious universities in the world.
Mr. Faisal AlNafisah – Independent Board Member
CEO of Al Rajhi Ekhwan Group since September 2021 – Present), as the main task of Mr. Faisal is to diversify asset classes and maintain them in the long term, He also held the position of vice president at BlackRock Saudi Arabia, He was the alternative investment manager in asset management (Masic) Company from 2019 to March 2021 He also worked as investment analyst at Hassana investment company.
Mr. Faisal holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada.
Mr. Mohammed AlJebreen – Independent Board Member
Mr. Mohammed has a long working experience of more than 25 years He worked as an assistant professor at King Saud University from 1998 to 2003 And acting dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Prince Sultan University He is the Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research in PRINCE SULTAN UNIVERSITY from 2018 – till now, Mr. Mohammed worked at Rana investment company as executive vice president of Finance and acting head of corporate finance he held many positions and has many achievements and is a member of several committees in companies.
Mr. Mohammed holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Saud University in 1984 and a Ph. D. in finance from Lehigh University, , Pennsylvania, USA in 1998.
Mr. Hesham Abdulaziz Al-Zaid – Independent Board Member
He is the General Manger of Real Estate Investment at Awqaf Investment Company. He worked as the Manger in the Deal Advisory Department at KPMG Alfozan and Alsadhan company. After that, he was the Senior Alternative Investment Funds Manager at Alinma Investment Company.
Mr. Hesham holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals.
